I guess a normal blog update is in order here huh? It has been a while after all. Hmmm let's see. What to tell. Well, Percy and Peggy finally got Married ! w00t ! I am sooooooo glad that Dad is finally as happy as he is. I was worried there for a while that he would give up on finding someone to make him happy again. Peggy is a wonderful woman and I love the way she loves him ! She is great to my kids and me too. I couldn't ask fr more in a "new Ma" than she is and has been from day one. Peggy's Beautiful daughter Dawn gave her away. Percy & Peggy had a hard time keeping their eyes off of one another once she made it to him. It was so cute ! Dad made a very sweet statment after it was over about how there was so many variations of family there that day and he welcomed them ALL to be a part of "their" new family. It was super sweet and warmed my heart for sure. Dawn did a WONDERFUL job making the wedding cake too ! How beautiful is this ?? And of course... I HAD to get a pic of me and Dad together ! I think this is the first one in a VERY long time if there is even another one at all ! I know I am gonna print and frame it for my house for sure ! I also got to meet some new people over there. Tammy and Tracy and Hunter came up from Alabama for the wedding and I had a BLAST getting to know them. Poor little Hunter was sick.. but he was still a sweetheart the whole time. Tarcy and I have been talking alot online since we have gotten back home and it is WILD how much alike we are. Kinda freaky when we type the very same things at the same time. ha ha I think she is my "good" twin from long lost ago... LOL Hmm... Oh... and I got to meet Dad and Ma's new doggies too !! This is Wally. He is so silly. He lays down to eat his food. LOL This is Nicky. He is a bit skiddish at first, but once he gets used to you he is ok. I had him eating out of my hands in no tme and he een came to me on his own by the time I got ready to leave. I love how his eyes look ! I also ended up bringing two other dogs home with me. Don't ask. Long story there. This is Patches. I gave her to the guy that runs the store up the road from me. This is Angel. I am giving her to my Maw Maw King as soon as I can get back over to the other side of GA to han her over. Right now she is still here with us and rotten... of course ! LOL She is a sweetie. I am sure Maw Maw will fall in love with her. I also have some CUTE Pics of my nephew Andrew but PSP is being a pain in the rear right now so I will have to show them later I guess. Lowell and Ryan got to see him along with my MIL and my BIL & SIL at the Pathfinder Camporee in Cahutta Springs. They all seemed to have a great time and are looking forward to going again next year too. One of the kids in our group even got baptised in he lake there too. Pretty cool if you ask me. *grins* Hmmmm Medical Update? The Lupus is at 86% right now ... w00t ! Maybe I wont have to take the steriods much longer now. The pms/period crap is still seriously screwed up. I have been trying to get back to the Dr for test but I can't seem to stop bleeding long enough to make it in there. Ugh.... I go in Monday... I am bleeding now... but I am NOT calling to tell them I am just so that they can cancel my appointment again. I will just pray that I wake up Monday morning w/o a bloody mess and head on in. I know I am tired of sleeping so much. I know it is cause I keep loosing the blood but GAH... I can't even get thru a whole day w/o going back to bed most days. And the head aches suck too. I am getting excited about my trip to see Jamie though. whoooohoooooooo ! I am suposed to leave on May 28th and wont be home till June 19th. Yeaaaaaaaah Baby ! Jamie time. I need that. And Trinity and Novalee Lovin's ! I need that too. ;-) I am still designing scrap kits for The Scrapping Garden, although I am slacking alot lately. I can't seem to find that creative groove I normally have. I think it is due to the scatter brain effect I seem to be living with lately. I can't seem to focus long enough to make a whole kit. I have like 15 of them half made so far. *sigh* Maybe need to make them all mini kits instead... LOL Robbie is gonna be playing football for the High School next year. Spring Training starts on Monday too. Should be interesting to see how he does with that. I am sure he will be fine after a while... but I am sure it will wipe him out for the first few days or so too. I wish my dad was still alive to see this. He would be so proud of Robbie. I am sure he would come over for his games and stuff too. *sigh* He has no idea what all he missed out on. Ok, on that note... I am gonna hush cause it's making me sad all of a sudden. Overdue Update

Helloooo strangers ! I know I know, I haven't been around a lot lately and I need my rear kicked for it I recon... but LIFE happens ya know and mine seems to be FULL of things that keep me "too busy" to sit my rear end at the computer long enough to tell you what is on my mind. Sad I know... you are just sitting there waiting on pins and needles for whatever might pop up on my page next aren't you? HA HA Not ! Well, let's see. I feel old. Yes, today I feel really old. Why? Well, because my middle child just turned 14 years old today. *sigh* He is growing up so fast ! Already taller than I am. Smart as a whip. Stubborn as my Daddy was ( God help me !! ). And .... sometimes too distant for my liking. Yeah, I know. Teenagers are only trying to assert their independence and search to find out who they are, but I miss my little cuddle bug ! We used to sit and talk for hours about everything and nothing. Now it is hard for me to even get him to tell me how his day went most of the time. Talk to me about his friends?? Only if it's something funny. Talk to me about what goes through his mind? Only if he is looking to see if he is odd or weird for thinking such things. ( Most cases, he is not. He's just a normal kid trying to figure things out ! ) Talk to me about his problems or troubles?? Oh noooooooooo! Can't do that. Don’t know why, but just can't. *sigh* I just want to be here for him... to help him... to love him. I shall just have to keep praying that God watch over him I guess. He did seem to like his cake though. I went for a more traditional cake instead of a "kiddy type" Birthday cake. It was Cookies & Cream ! YUMMMY ! I have been sitting here thinking I want another piece too... but so far I have resisted the temptation to add a few more unwanted pounds to my already rounder than it should be rump. We normally do a “date” thing where the kids pick either Lowell or I to take them out to dinner and a movie too for their birthday’s, but I think Ryan wants to wait till after Spring Break to see if there is a movie out that he would rather watch. That’s ok with me. I am just glad I thought about the “date” thing a few years back because I really enjoy spending time alone with them when they do pick me to take them. Memories in the making ! *wink* I had an unexpected trip to Alabama last week as well. For some reason my Aunt Sissy decided that she was going to up & leave home and not contact anyone for days. Maw Maw King ( Her mom ) called me upset… and you know me ! I went a runnin’ ! I am still not sure about all of the details as to what happened, but Sissy is back home now… FOR now. She was supposed to call me back and talk to me, but so far I have not heard from her. * sigh* I wish I knew what I did so wrong to make her not want to be a part of my life anymore. I heard that it has something to do with me deciding to take my Daddy ( her big, oldest brother ) off of life support and let him die in peace. I am not sure if that is true or not, but I do wonder. Spring Break is coming fast and it will be yet another busy time for me. A joyous one, but a busy one for sure. I will be traveling all over GA again. Nothing new huh? Yeah, I know. I should get my CDL’s and drive for a living ! At least I’d get paid for all those miles on the road! Hehehe Ok, so where will I be going? First to Monroe, to drop off beds, clean up the graveyard, visit with my family, and take my Maw Maw Clegg and cousin Nikki to see Hillary’s two girls who are still in Foster Care there. Then I will be heading to Newnan, GA. My kids ( all three of them ) will already be there because Dad Shaul is coming to pick them all up next week & take them back to his house. So, I get a small… kind of long weekend vacation from the kidlets I guess. Why am I going over there too?? Cause Dad is getting married ! Yeppers ! He is gonna marry Ms. Peggy ! Whooooohooooooo ! I can’t wait ! He is so happy and I am so happy for him too. It is sure to be an… interesting day though. His kids ( My Ex, his wife, and ex brother in law ), Her kids ( and some that aren’t really hers but she claims them ), plus me and Lowell. Yep. Interesting is a good word. LOL I will have to let ya know how that one pans out for sure. Not sure if you remember or not… but I told you all about a year ago about my daughter Sandi accepting Christ as hr Savior. Since then, she has asked several times if she can be baptized. Well, I was not ignoring her request, but rather giving her more time to grow as a child of God and learn what it really means to be baptized. And more over than that, to be baptized into the Adventist Church. ( If you are SDA you know what I mean!! If not, let’s just say it’s a lot more than just being dunked under water ! ) She is 9 now, and very smart. Still a little high strung and much like a half pint Drama Queen at times, but smart all the same. I know that the Bible says that I am to raise her ( Well, Lowell AND I…. can’t leave him out here ! ) , in the ways according to God’s word and teach her His Love and Laws. We do that, to the best of our ability. However, being a Mommy who most defiantly wants her child to be in Heaven with her one day… I am not sure if I would be objective enough to go through the process of trying to make sure Sandi understands all of the needed things for her to be baptized into the Adventist Church. So, now I have to think… and figure out where to go from here. It is clear that she is not going to give up. She has asked me MANY times lately about it. And even mentioned someone at our church who does “classes” per say to help you understand it all. I am very proud of her for wanting it so bad, but I want to be sure she knows EXACTLY what it is she is asking for first. So, what to do ? Well, I have a few idea’s. I can let her take the “classes” at the church. I can try to teach her myself, and pray that I do not improperly influence her for my own wants to be met. I can ask my Mother In Law to talk with her about it and possibly teach her whatever it is that she may need to know before hand. I can ask Leticia ( the Adventurer Club Leader ) if she would be willing to help us. I can also see if Nick Minder would be willing to talk to Sandi and make sure she is “ready” from an outside looking in kind of view. All I really know for sure is, that I want my Father In Law to come up here and be the one who does her Baptism. I have my own reasons for that to which I wont talk about here. So far… I think I am liking the Mother In Law Idea best. Not only do I believe that my Mom In Law will make certain that Sandi is ready, I believe that she will also be able to be impartial to her too. I also think that it would be a wonderful bonding time for the two of them. Mom Hanson is an amazing woman who truly loves the Lord with all of her self. You can see it in her every day actions, hear it in the words that flow from her mouth, and feel it in the air that surrounds her. She is truly… my hero ! Hmm I will have to talk to her and see if she has time to help us out here. If she can’t…. then I can try to go with one of the other idea’s I suppose. Wow, this is turning into a book again. See what happens when I wait too long to update everyone on this thing I call life ?? Geeeesh !! Ok, one last thing and then I will hush for this time. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do me a HUGE favor and say a special prayer for my hubby. You know I do not ask for stuff like this very often, but I think it is HIGH time I do now. He is so tired lately. Worn to the bone. Working long hours. Coming home and dealing with a sickly wife and three kids that don’t like to mind him. ( ughhhh!! ) He has taken over the Pathfinders Club at the church and seems to like it, but it is a lot of work too. They are redoing SO many things at his job lately that he hardly knows if he is coming or going most days. There may even be a possibility that his job may be in jeopardy somewhere down the line. He stresses about money way too much, mainly because we have way too little of it ! He needs some soul rest. Something to revive him from deep inside so that the outside will catch up. I miss him singing in the mornings. I miss him smiling all the time. I miss how he made me see the bright side of every issue we faced in our lives. I miss the family prayer time we used to have. I miss the couple prayer time we used to have. I miss the long Sabbath afternoons laying in the bed just talking about everything under the sun and being sure that we thanked God for them all. *sigh* Anyways, just please pray for him. He is a good man and he works hard to provide for his family and church as well. Ok, I’m done taking up all of your time. Go on back to surfing the net, checking your e-mail, browsing blogs… whatever it was you were doing before I bored you to death here. Hehehe HUGS n stuffies, Chrissy

Where were YOU ?

Ya know how they have those things on TV and in papers about “Where were you this time last year” or whatever? Well, as morbid as it may sound… this time last year I was watching them take my Dad’s breathing tube out in the Liver Treatment ICU of Emory Univ. Hospital to let him die a “peaceful” death. Yep, that’s right. This time last year I was standing beside his bed waiting on him to die. I remember thinking or maybe I was praying that it wouldn’t take long because he could hardly breath as it was. I was scared to leave his side. I didn’t want him to be alone and moreover, *I* wanted to be there when it happened. It was a promise I made to him a long time ago and I meant I was gonna keep it ! Hours went by and they moved us to another room on the floor with instructions to basically leave us alone unless we needed something. Hours went by there too till finally I had them cut off all of his fluids and 02 and knock him slap out with the morphine. I wanted him to just slip off to sleep and pass quietly and w/o pain. It got later and most of the family left. Hour after hour all night long I watched him and waited. And Im sorry but I can’t finish this right now cause I cant see through the tears. I need a nap. ..::>>KIDLETS<<::.. The kids got their progress reports today. ALL of them did wonderful ! Ryan did a GREAT job actually!! I am very proud of him. Now, to get his tude to change some ! LOL Sandi did well too but her teacher seems to think she is only "passing thru" things and that she has the ability to do much better.... Hmm... interesting. I am going to set up a conference with him about that I think. Robbie is finally making better grades in his comper apps class too... despite the teachers rude ass ways to trying to point him out on stuff. Robbie was asked to be a Juniou Decon at our church, he accepted, and I am proud of him. ..::>>UNCLE TROY<<::.. That dumb Dr. started him back on the meds for the Hep C again. Stupid wanker is trying to kill him... I swear he is. *sigh* ..::>>LOWELL<<::.. He is working alot still and adding even more to his plate via our church. I know service to God is important, but I feel as if they are taking advantage of his goodheartedness at times. He is always so tired already, what will these added things do now? *sigh* ..::>>THANKSGIVING<<::.. We will be leaving here on Wednesday of next week to head to Monroe for Turkey Day. Lowell actually got some time off for a change and we get to stay till Friday ! We "could" stay longer, but I want to come home. LOL ..::>>CHRISTMAS<<::.. I finally talked to Mark tonight and it seems we have definate plans now. All of my kidlets will be goingto see their Fathers/family for the Christmas Break from school. That leaves me and Lowell here alone ( unless we have Hill's girls by then ) to play like newlyweds or something. LOL ..::>>SCRAP NEWS<<::..
